Gates Mills Police Department
Proud to Serve...Sworn to Protect
From Your Police Department:
On behalf of the men and women of your Gates Mills Police Department, I would like to thank all of those who contributed to the Village Employee Christmas Fund. I would also like to thank those who kept our employees “well fed” with the wide array of holiday food items that were delivered. Your thoughtful expressions of support for the Police Department were greatly appreciated
In January of 2015, the Gates Mills Police Department has officially partnered with the Valley Enforcement Group (VEG). Benefits of partnering with the 15 other communities, mainly in the Chagrin Valley, include: larger resource pools, more grant funding availability, additional training opportunities and cost reduction.
I want to encourage all residents to sign up for our CODE RED service. This service allows us to record, send, and track personalized voice, email, and text messages, regarding important information to our citizens of Gates Mills. If you have already signed up, please be sure to review all of your settings. To enroll or review, go to our website at www.gatesmillsvillage.com and click on the CODE RED link. If you have questions or need assistance signing up please call the Town Hall at 440.423.4405 and speak to our Police and Town Hall Coordinators, Charlene or Dorothy.
The police department maintains a secure key file for the convenience of our residents. If you are not taking advantage of this service, please consider doing so. By providing us with your house key, should you accidentally lock yourself out or if there is an emergency and we need to access your home, we can gain entry without any damage. If you are already taking advantage of this service and have changed your locks for any reason, please remember to provide us with a new key.
Until next month – Proud to Serve Sworn to Protect
Yours in Service,
