Police Department
Proud to Serve…Sworn to Protect
From Your Police Department:
It has been two years since Chagrin Valley Dispatch has been providing you with police, fire, and EMS dispatching services. I thought this would be a good opportunity to review some commonly used services and provide a brief description.
Police, Fire & Medical Emergencies: Dial 911 and a dispatcher will assist you with your police, fire or medical emergency.
Non-Emergency Police or Fire Requests: Dial (440) 423-4456, and a dispatcher will assist you with your non-emergency police or fire request. Non-emergency requests are those that do not require immediate and rapid response from police, fire, or EMS personnel.
Town Hall: Town Hall business hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. until 1p.m. on Saturday. During normal business hours, the Town Hall is staffed by a Police & Town Hall Coordinator. The Police & Town Hall Coordinator is available to assist you in person, or by phone at (440) 423-4405. I would like to encourage you to talk to Charlene or Dorothy at the Town Hall for all general inquiries or questions requiring personal attention.
House Watches: House watch requests will be received by the Police & Town Hall Coordinator during normal business hours. Requests can be placed by phone at (440) 423-4405, in person at the Town Hall, or online at www.gatesmillsvillage.com under the header “Watch My House” in the left margin. Information on all of our police services can also be found on our webpage.
Key File Storage: Spare house keys stored at the Gates Mills Police Department will be available 24 hours a day. Call (440) 423-4456, and an officer will either meet you at the Town Hall or bring the keys to your home.
Until next month –Proud to serve…Sworn to Protect
